Marie Wallace Bayswater Park

The Marie Wallace Park is a great park for kids especially fans of Thomas the Tank Engine. Kids will also love the wave slide,  fireman's pole, musical pipes, high rope bridge, musical bridge, rope and wooden climbing walls, and the list goes on ....

Another attraction on this walk is the delicious vanilla slice served at the coffee shop.

Toilet Facilities and coffee stop: Marie Wallace Park and the Vanilla slice coffee shop

Park your car on Waldheim Road. The track starts at the end of Waldheim Road.

Turn right on the track and follow the track, through the tunnel under the railway line, past King St.

Turn right at the first turnoff after King St. and walk along the track through the playground to Mountain Hwy.

Cross the railway line and then turn right. You will see a couple of shops selling vanilla slice. I prefer the first shop, just as you turn right, but you may like to try both and make up your own mind which vanilla slice is better. Have coffee and Vanilla slice there.

To return, cross the railway line and take the path next to the railway line and follow the same route to return to the cars.

Drive along Mountain Hwy back to Marie Wallace Bayswater Park for lunch.
