Leaving East Richmond Station, turn right into Church Street.  Continue along Church Street, cross over the Yarra river via the Church Street Bridge and turn right onto Alexandra Avenue, then do a U turn  onto the Capital City Trail and go under bridge, continue on until Y fork in track.  Take left side path (walking only track) along river.  When tracks reconnect do a U turn and walk along boardwalk.  Continue along Alexandra Avenue, turn left over the MacRobertson Bridge at the Grange Road round-a-bout.  Turn left immediately over bridge and walk along Twickenham Crescent to the first set of traffic lights.  Turn right at lights into Gibdon Street.  Turn left into Golden Square Bicentennial Park.  At Madden Grove turn left to Burnley Station.
