Train to Footscray Station – On East side of station walk east along Napier Street. Turn left into Moreland Street (Coffee here). Leaving coffee shop walk down to river and turn left along river track. Continue along track past Newell's Paddock, Footscray Park, Flemington Racecourse. Lunch in rotunda prior to Maribyrnong Road. Catch No. 57 tram to city (ends at Flinders St. station in Elizabeth St.)
